Czech Republic v Denmark

Valiant effort from the Czechs but it was not enough. Denmark dominated the game from the start and took the lead after just 5 minutes from a corner from Delaney. After a round of chances Dolberg finally made it 2 after a peach of a cross from Maehle who used the outside of his boot. In the second half however Czech Republic were getting back in it due to a change in tactics and managed to pull one back via Schick with a great cross. After that however they could not take their chances. Denmark had a 1v1 towards the end but Vaclik kept it out well.

Ukraine v England

Absolute domination from England here and they will be facing Denmark in the semi final. The Ukraine defence kept getting exposed time and time again. Kane scored a great brace. Overall, there were 3 headers that were scored so that just gives a major indication of the way the defence was. Ukraine did get the ball a few times due to some bad clearances from England but couldn’t really capitalise on them. Its an admirable effort from Ukraine to make it this far.
