England v Germany

The first half was completely dead from both sides not wanting to give the other space to attack. The main chance in the first half came from Harry Kane latching onto a loose ball but took a heavy touch and Hummels cleared it. The introduction of Grealish however changed the game. Shaw was even more threatening along with him and Grealish set it up for Shaw whose low cross was met by Sterling. Germany however had a chance to make it level but Muller who was clean through put his shot wide. Later Grealish was set up by Shaw who crossed it to Kane who finally scored in the tournament.

Sweden v Ukraine

Great game from Ukraine and they will be facing England in the quarter finals. Sweden were the ones who were quick out the blocks but Ukraine drew first blood from Zinchenko who had an amazing game overall scored with a brilliant volley. Forsberg however managed to equalise before half time. The game dragged on with Sweden missing a lot of chances. Towards the end of extra time Zinchenko crossed it beautifully for a header to win the game for them.
