Finally Uruguay have a win and are through as well to the quarter finals. Bolivia had an early chance but missed it. Later finally, Uruguay managed to score when a cross was put into their own net by Quinteros who was trying to prevent the ball reaching Cavani. Later Cavani made it 2 when a low cross was met by him and he scored easily. Maxi Gomez could have made it 3 when a pass from Valverde left him with an open net and he shot wide. With the chances they got, it may have been 4 at least.

Chile are stunned in this match. Most decisions didn’t go their way and they were not happy. Almiron finally had a good game for the national team when he assisted the first goal and scored from the penalty spot for the second.
