A goalkeeping masterclass from the Peru keeper made sure the score would be staying at 0-0 in the first few minutes. The most notable one was his double save from 2 chances. Finally the breakthrough arrived from Neymar who managed to get out of a tight spot via a nutmeg before teeing it up for Lucas Paqueta who managed to score again and was the deciding goal for Brazil. In the second half chances did come for Peru and their biggest chance was a header which could not be turned into an open net after Ederson came forward for a free kick. They will now be facing either Argentina or Colombia.
